Creating your data strategy

Introduction
In this guide, we will walk you through the process of creating a comprehensive data strategy using our platform. You'll learn how to set up validated surveys, plan survey distribution and create various types of registrations. By the end of this guide, you'll be equipped to effectively measure and analyze social impact data, helping you make data-driven decisions to improve your social interventions.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Create Data Strategy
    • Go to the "Strategies" tab and click on "Create Strategy."
  2. Select Surveys
    • Choose between validated questionnaires and self-created questionnaires. For example, you can select a loneliness measurement (UCLA-3) and a wellbeing measurement (WHO-5). Click "Next."
  3. Select Target Group
    • Choose the citizens who will be part of the data strategy, and click "Next."
  4. Confirm Surveys
    • Confirm the questionnaires that will be sent to the target group and the order of the questionnaires.
  5. Plan Distribution
    • Schedule the distribution by selecting the date and frequency. For example, you can choose to send the questionnaires every three months on the first day at 12 PM, for a period of 10 distributions. Click "Next."
  6. Choose Sequence
    • Choose the sequence of the questionnaires, with the validated ones first. Click "Next."
  7. Name the Strategy
    • Name your strategy and click "Finish."

Creating Registrations

  1. Create a registration
    • Start by clicking the Plus on the Registrations tab
  2. Event Registration
    • Event registration are specific events that are important to document, for example, conflicts or participation in activities. Here, you name the type of registration, and click Finish.
  3. Numerical Registration
    • Register a numerical value, such as BMI or absence percentage.
  4. Status Registration
    • Register a status category, such as employment status, and the steps leading to full-time employment (e.g., from internship to part-time job to full-time job).
